If at all possible, work with a personal trainer. I carved out 2 times a month from my budget. It is worth. She always motivates me, gives me new strength exercises to do at home, helps with my form and makes me feel great about strength training.

While I haven't lost a lot more weight working with trainer. (I was just 5 lbs. from goal when I started), but my body looks better, clothes fit better, I have more energy and am more aware of my muscles, posture and movement.

Personal trainers can be costly but you can't put a price on good health. A personal trainer has helped me stay on program because he knows exactly what I need for success. He is someone who will push me past what I would normally do on my own. He is also someone else who is invested in my success because his job is to help me succeed in losing weight and be physically fit.

I find that staying on program, I go out to eat way less and when I do go out, the bill is much lower. I haven't had the extra wine, appetizer or dessert. The money that I save on dinner in restaurants I use to pay my personal trainer. In fact, some weeks, I have even saved money!!!

I would encourage one to consider getting a Personal trainer, even if it's 2 days a wk. for half an hr each session. It's expensive yes, however it is worth it in other areas besides just work outs.
