When I pack my lunch for work, I make sure I include a zipper bag of baby carrots. They're sweet and crunchy and so good for you. You can dip them in hummus or Greek yogurt or anything other type of healthy dip. You can also substitute celery sticks or green pepper..
It's perfect in lieu of potato chips or french fries. You can also count them as a veggie when you track your nutrition

Keep a bag of baby carrots in the very front of your refrigerator. Whenever you open the door (for any reason) you have to eat at least one. This will help you get your vegetables in for the day and keep your appetite curbed. If you don't like carrots or want a change, try other vegetables.
Fruit. celery, green peppers, etc. work great for this. Just have them preped and ready to eat.
1) substitution - Costco sells a 3+ lbs of terrific celery and large bag of baby carrots. You can snack on these all day instead of other crunch items like chips. Raw cauliflower works too. Wasa flatbread instead of cookies, crackers. 2) tracking - SP makes counting calories so very easy. Stay totally honest and before putting anything in your mouth, know you'll have to list it! 3) pedometer - not just a tracker, it reminds you all day that you are on a mission
