    I understand the "tired of being tired". I started my journey two years ago (1/12).
It feels so long ago but in the grand scale it went pretty fast.
I started out at a 39% body fat and I'm now 17% body fat. No magic.
Eat less and the right food and exercise ALL the time. It will come off, I promise you.
My one piece of advice is to stop focusing on the date. Start today doing what it takes and the day will come. I'm a different person. I'm a better mother, wife, business owner,friend. Fitness and eating healthy has literally changed my life.
I have three young children and I run my own business. It can be done.
I turned 49 two months ago and I can tell you that I've never felt younger!!!
Keep up the good work and keep up the positivity.

    I'm not new to Sparkpeople, but I'm back for a second time and I'm more motivated than ever! I will be 47 years old in April 2014, and I've tried to lose weight for years by my birthday. Each year I've set this goal, but did not meet the goal. I WILL be at half of my goal weight loss by my birthday in 2014. I'm tired of being tired! I plan my meals and exercise daily. I also journal my success with eating, drinking water and sleeping. I feel good about this weight loss journey!

    I am new to Spark. How do you use spark to plan your meals ahead of time so I can shop accordingly? emoticon
