I JOINED THE Y AND GOT IN TO AN EXERCISE CLASS. IT MAKES ME WORKOUT HARDER WHEN I AM WITH THE CLASS THEN WHEN I DO A WORKING OUT BY MYSELF. IT IS FREE WITH MY MEMBERSHIP PLUS IT IS A GREAT WAY TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS.

Not sure what I am able to do with my leg injuries, I use short 10min video workouts on You Tube. This allows me a wide variety of options and I can try it before I buy a DVD or join a class. I even did 20mins of beginning Belly Dancing yesterday.
ASK your local fitness club if they offer open house or free trial days
I am not really a fitness class person and I have some great fitness equipment and videos at home but recently I attended a zumba class and a yoga class free at my local gym. I asked and they were quite happy to let me try three free classes before joining. I have decided not to join right now but it was a great way to try something new and see if it was right for me without the committment and get some exercise as well!104
Exercise with a Buddy... You are more apt to exercise when you have someone to push you on.... to motivate you or have some friendly competition!
Chit Chat on a power walk.... Get on side by side Ellipticals at the gym and race.... call each other and ask if they took a walk today.... join a class you normally wouldn't take by yourself.... a biking club or pair up to run a 5K together
