A Richer, Creamier Cup Of Joe Without Fat Or Artificial Flavoring

Next time you pour a morning cup, add calcium and protein by stirring in a couple of teaspoons of nonfat powdered milk instead of creamer. I love the way it creates a richer cup of coffee, brings out flavored coffee, adds a hint of sweetness, and gives me the nutritional benefits of milk without watering down my drink. At about 5 calories a teaspoon, it's one of my favorite weight loss secrets. It also works great in tea and cocoa!
Calories based on 1/3 cup nonfat milk powder = 8oz skim milk. 16 teaspoons = 1/3 cup.

Swapping coffee shop iced coffee for homemade with almond milk
I loved the iced coffee that I would buy from the "golden arches" but it isn't exactly the healthiest of drinks. I began to cold brew my own coffee (you can find info on the web on how to do it). I usually will buy some richly flavored coffee so I don't need any of the flavored syrups and I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk for the creaminess. It only has 40 calories for one cup and has heart healthy fat which gives it a creamy flavor.
