Instead of doing an hour workout at one time, I do 30 mins in the morning (pilates) and 30 mins in the evening (cardio and strength training). If I miss an evening workout, I won't feel so bad since I was able to workout in the morning.
Also, I am not a morning person so I sleep with my workout clothes on. (clean ones, of course!) All I have to do is roll out of bed, start stretching and hit play on my DVD player to start a workout video!
Don't fret about exercising late at night. It's better to get that workout in than to hold it off for the morning when you'll be too busy and it will be way too easy to say you don't have time.
Some people are morning people, and more power to them ... but every time I've tried to set up a morning routine, I've failed to actually continue to exercise over a prolonged period. 11pm is more my style, and I've been able to keep on track much better this way.
At first I worried that exercising so late at night would prevent me from falling asleep. So far that has not been the case. I've been waking up well-rested and energized. I even find myself looking forward to my evening workout.
