2nd Shelf

This Sparked Me!

Most closets have only one shelf above where the clothes hang. I measure the shelf, add brackets to hold it on both ends and depending on the length of the shelf a center support, if needed. You can only stack things so high and the added shelf lets you put seldom used items and use wasted space.

You can buy prefinished shelves at a home repair store and the cost is minimal.

For renters: put pre-made shelves on free-standing supports and stand them on the shelf. This expands the space without making holes in the landlord's walls.

This is a great idea, my closet is very small, this would really "expand" it.
