We all know how important it is to keep moving--and how easy it is to cut back on sleep when there are many demands on our time. But I've learned that when I don't get at least 7.5 hours of sleep, life starts to unravel. Part of staying healthy is getting lots of sleep. I try to get a nap each day. Once you can't get enough sleep during the night, make sure you get some sleep during the day. When a weight loss company sells sugary treats and salty snacks under their own brand name, you are led to believe that these things are not only OK, but part of your successful weight loss regime. For me, personally, this is a sure way to fail time and time again. Making my own eating plan based on protein, veggies, some fruit, nuts & almost NO GRAINS - even whole grains - has made my appetite subside and I've consistently lost on my plan. Eat what your body needs, not what your mind craves!
Make sure to turn a jaundiced eye on those big weight loss companies and clubs. They make their profits on keeping their members struggling and failing to renew their memberships over and over. YOU CAN DO IT yourself because YOU know your weaknesses and strengths.
