When I was just starting out I tried finding lots of little ways to get moving. One of my favorite finds was doing the car dance. Every morning on my way to work I turn my radio on, find some great tunes, and turn it up!
Not only does this help you burn a couple extra calories it helps put you in a great mood. Even if I look like an idiot sitting in traffic jamming out I can't help but smile!
It doesn't matter if you are just doing a little head bob, or you wave 'em like you just don't care. Just get moving!
I turn the radio to some oldies(I'm 23 but I Love oldies!) or whatever I'm in the mood for and I dance around the house with my dogs... they love it and it does my body good! I don't even feel like I'm working hard but my heart rate monitor says so and I could do it for hours! its also therapeutic.
