Don'T Stress Over The Amount, Be Happy You Did It!




I honestly FEEL good when I exercise consistently. But that doesn't mean I do 20 miles per day, if I get in exercise 3x/week on a week I'm not feeling too great then to me that's a success. If I exercise only 5 or 10 minutes a day for a week, that's a success to me too. The point is, I EXERCISED.

  • I started going to a spin class at my local gym and it is intense and there is a point just past the half way point that my butt hurts on the seat and i am sweating so much the sweat is rolling down in my eyes and i am trying to keep up with everyone and the music and my brain and body say your done! give it up that is it throw in the towel! and i have to force myself to say out loud that "I CAN DO THIS! and I keep going. when the class is done im exhausted but I feel good and feel like I have a pep in my step! It feels good knowing I overcame the little lazy voice in my head and I met the task at hand. I have a long way to go to accomplish my goal but I know that even tho i only do this class once a week just the thought encourages me to come back the next week and in the mean time try the other classes that are offered! Having a workout buddy too is great! she motivates me and encourages me when the lazy voice is winning that day. emoticon - by MPJNANA13
