When I fill myself up with good for me foods that are low in fat but high in nutrients, vitamins, and lean protein, I lose weight quickly and stay on track. As soon as I see the first few pounds come off on the scale, I get hyped to stay on track.
I try to cut down on sweets, but if I am having a complete craving, I try to find a lower in fat version of whatever I am craving. For example if I am craving chocolate, I will have a cup of hot cocoa, a york peppermint patty, or a pudding cup. Then I don't feel "deprived"!

I generally find that eating foods that are either high fiber, high protein, or both, keep me full and satisfied longer. I don't follow a low carb diet, but I do try to make sure that I go easy ont he carbs and fat and lean more heavily towards the side of high protein/fiber

Eggs have dozens of essential nutrients, no carbs,100 calories or less & protein, include poulty & lean meat as protein sources which will improve glycemic control & weight loss
