This Sparked Me!

Every night before I go to bed I write down 5 things I am grateful for. It can be something simple like a beautiful sunny day or hearing a child's laughter. I also write more serious things like thanking God for His Son Jesus Christ who died for my sins. I have found that by doing this each night it changes my perspective, especially if I have had a bad day.

    I did this for three years. I wrote five things I was thankful for each day. I tried to think of something different for each entry. Even if you are having a bad day you should be thankful for a minimum of five things that day. It could something as simple as God gave me another day of life, the quietness of the night while I slept or my beautiful garden. There is so much to be grateful for. emoticon
