Punch it Out and give stress the Beat Down it deserves!!!
I found this morning when I was in the midst of my cardio routine that I was able to relieve some of the stress that has had me in it's grips for weeks. I was doing turbo Jam and Chalene(instructor on DVD) said find something you are passionate about (no matter what it is)and use that energy to punch and I did and oh it felt so good to release like that. I actually cried a little. I now have a weapon I can use against stress....Jab, Cross, Hook, Upper cut Punches - they work...for me 216
I also found that I can do this at my desk at work. If I am feeling that closed in stressed out feeling I can get up and do a little boxing. 104
Laughing is one of the best ways to relieve stress, change a mood, or an attitude. It jolts your thoughts into a positive thinking cycle. Simply watching or listening to someone laugh can trigger feel good endorphins to be released in the brain which helps reduce mental & physiological symptoms of stress. It's also contagious. I believe that sometimes when life is stressful...it is important to have an outlet for rest and relaxation...I believe this is very important to keep a positive attitude..I believe Bubblebaths provide that rest...relaxation...and stress release...next time your all stressed out..hop in the tub!
