High Carbs & High Protein Combo For Breakfast

Whenever I eat a breakfast with high carbs (20g+) AND high protein (15g+), it's much easier for me to stay in calorie range. I know that the idea of high carbs so early in the day can sound scary, but as a member of SP for almost four years, I can assure you that this combined with protein will shut hunger pangs DOWN.

    I eat cereal most mornings about 7:30 AM. I mix Special K cereal (usually berry) with the Special K Protein cereal, so at least I am getting some protein in the AM. And I don't get the plain taste of the protein cereal alone. I am usually not hungry till 1 or 2 PM

    Totally agree with you! If I eat only cereal for breakfast, I am famished by mid morning.

What fills me up the most is if I have have an egg white omelet and a piece of toast or a lite English muffin.
