If you practice accepting your body the way it is, then your weight or size become only data to help you maximize your health, instead of goals. In my experience (living with chronic depression, and preferring cognitive behavioural therapy), number goals become obsessions, and that sucks.
This is obviously a success tip for overall health and wellness, not for weight minimization. Is it heresy on this site? Maybe! After all, it is contradictory to weight loss motivation that consists of "I hate my body/ my fat/ my fat parts".
