I always have a full glass of water next to me so I can make sure I drink my water all day long. I avoid buying empty calorie drinks. During my workout videos, I pause it every 15 minutes to drink a glass of water to stay hydrated. Also another idea I have done in the past especially for my kids, is to set an alarm clock for every hour or so to drink your water. After awhile you can skip setting the alarm, and you will swear you heard it anyways, and automatically grab your glass of water.

Remember to eat breakfast and drink plently of water213
The way I keep track of water consumption is to fill a one liter bottle in the morning which I drink throughout the day while at work. When I go to the gym I refill the bottle and drink another liter. This way, I don't have to remember how many glasses I just remember to drink two bottles of water a day!
When sitting at your desk, I used to find that it was really hard to remember to drink my water. Now, I keep a water bottle next to the hand that I use my mouse with. Whenever I need to wait for something, like a program to load or a website to pop up, I drink my water until it's done. Sometimes I try to see how much I can drink while I wait!
