I realized a good way to keep yourself exercising and eating healthy - and that's to do everything as if you've already reached your weight loss goal!
When you lose weight, your stomach shrinks along with you, making you feel full faster. Because you know this - and you don't want to stretch out your stomach - you are compelled to eat less. With this kind of mindset, you're eating less. This is a method of portion control.
I have already lost a few pounds by doing this! You can, too!
Remember it takes about 10 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain you're not hungry anymore!

In order to reach your goals....visualize...not just reaching the goal....but living it! If the goal is wt. loss, it's the actions of a slimmer person, not the number on the scale that count! This applies to any of our goals...we need to live what it takes.
Write your success story now - as if you've already reached your goals!
Take some time to write your success story now, as if you've already reached your goals. Write about the obstacles you encountered, and how you over came them. Write about the feelings you had as you reached the short-term goals along the way and end with how you felt when you reached your ultimate long-term goal. Explain how your life has changed, and all the feelings and such that have come along with achieving your desired weight, or fitness-related goals.
By writing your success story now, you start to think about the obstacles that may come your way and how you'll over come them, as well as get you thinking about how you'll feel. Having something you can read that will remind you of what you hope to achieve will help keep you motivated and excited!
