Every weekend I buy a large family pack of skinless/boneless chicken breasts, split them in halves and bake or grill the whole lot. Over the week I add it to soups, stews, or sprinkle seasonings to make it a main dish. It saves me SO much time on weekdays and I always have food in a pinch.
Save time, save money buying in bulk, and there's always something to grab & prepare if you're starving.
my neighbors and i have kids that are different ages and sizes. i have one nieghbor who pases clothes to me and i go through them. Then i pass on to my other nieghbor what is to big for my kids. and then when her kids grow out of them she passes them to me and then when my kids grow out of them she pases them on to her sister who has a child smaller than mine. I am a big freecycler i can offer things to people that we dont need and get things that we need all for free
when you have five kids who are constantly growing it saves big bucks and theclothes that we get are always in good condition.
When the sale papers arrive I take 1/2 hour and go through them to write down what's on sale. I then plan my menu by the best sales. For the most part I only go to one store - once a week. If another store has one or two items on sale that are too good to pass up I will go but only for those item
Combine sales with coupons - save in reg. grocery stores more then big box stores.
