Dont think about anything but today. Getting through today is the goal. Not if I will lose 5 pounds this month or if I will fit into that dress I love. Concentrating on staying within my calorie limit and my exercise today. I will worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes.

    It's so simple but so easy to forget. You can take the day and do something with it or waste it away and make your goal take that much longer

    Thank you! I start looking at what I've done for the past week and think, "well, I will just start again on Monday". But you are right - I need to focus on staying within my calorie limits TODAY! Worry about tomorrow when it gets here.

    I totally agree! It's nice to envision your long term goal, but only PICTURE THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE IT! Taking it one day at a time helps me not to feel like my long term goal is so far away! Meeting my short term goals keeps me motivated enough to keep going and shooting for bigger and better things!!!

    I also do much better when I focus on today only and not think about the past or future. Thank you! It really helps to stay focused and eating the proper balance so my body utilizes the good nutrients and it keeps me from snacking on the wrong foods. It also helps to go outside and get some sunshine to keep my spirits up!
