Don't wait by saying "Ill start again tomorrow." Just do one small thing now that puts you right back into it. Go for a walk around the block, Have a healthy snack, write down your goals for the day, and write how good you feel once you have done it. Remind yourself that you are worth it, and everything little thing in the right direction will take you to your goal. 306
Each little step is a stepping stone to success. You will like the way you feel once you have done it. Doing it now stops the cycle of procrastinating or waiting until everything is perfect. It does not have to be perfect. Just do something now.
One key to my success is setting realistic goals. On the first of each month, I set 5-6 goals I work to achieve during the month, as well as a few long-term goals. I also revisit the goals from the prior month to reflect on my progress. Writing down my goals in this way gives me a target to aim for each day and keeps me on track.
My husband and I wrote down 5 goals each for the month. We put these goals in and envelope. and the envelopes are both sealed and hanging on our door way so we can always remember that we have these goals. We can not open them until June 10th. and If we have kept to these goals in 1 month we will reward ourselves!
It can be more than 5 goals, and if your doing this with the significant other, it is important to let them set there own goals and up to them to follow them. You worry about your own goals and following them. :))
