There is so much amazing, helpful information on SparkPeople that I could get sidetracked in reading instead of doing! Doing SparkCoach is teaching me a routine for "hitting all the marks" in using the SparkPeople resources and getting off the computer and back into life to put that learning to work... I am losing weight again. 304250
I have learned that my morning affirmations help reduce stress and start my day with a positive note. I get up a few minutes earlier each day and spend time with SparkCoach or a devotional book. I do this just before my morning workout or just after (depends on the day.) This is quality time I spend with myself. This only takes about 10 minutes and prepares me for the day ahead.
Today in SparkCoach I had to think of how to add some extra movement in today. While at work I found Coach Nicole stretches at your desk video, which helped with stretches and also for every 20 min. I am sitting, I try to get up and stand or walk back and forth for about 2 min. As sometimes I can't leave the front desk. If there is something I can do standing up, I'll do it.
