Indoor Walking Track

This Sparked Me!

This winter has been particularly cold, but I still want to get in my "power walks" - walking at 3.0 - 3.4 miles per hour (128-130 beats per minute) - so I have identified an open walking area "track" that is about about 40 feet long, from my living room to my den. So I pop in the iPod with my favorite walking music and walk for 20-30 minutes at a time. I can even do this while the rest of the house is still sleeping in the early morning.

I *love this! It would work great at College too...Just take an Ipod with the Nike+ or similar app and walk the buildings. Find a loop you like and go for it.
