I cut out the carbohydrates from my diet. I stopped eating pasta, rice, bread, and potatoes. My diet consist of meat and vegetables for lunch; and fruit for dinner. For a snack I will eat a handfull of nuts. For breakfast I will alternate between a breakfast sandwhich or oatmeal. By changing my diet and eating more fruits and vegetables daily I have lost 24 pounds so far. I used to be on insulin shots. Once I changed my eating habits my doctor took me off of the insulin.

Congratulations on getting away from the shots. You should be very proud of yourself. I am so happy for you that you are healthier.I also have cut out the carbs. It is very hard for me because I used to cook carbs every night for dinner. but I have not lost as much weight as you. I am looking forward to the weight loss though.
