I got a WII for gift and whenever, I don't feel like exercising or too busy or tired, I start playing with my WII the biggest loser,or boxing, bowling on my WII sport or just dance the commercials When I am watching a show and it works for me.294326Too much Fun!!!
When I started actively trying to lose weight and get back in shape last year (right about the time I first joined SparkPeople), I weighed 251, was having sciatica attacks, and could barely move around. I was so out of shape, I had trouble going on an actual walk, so I bought a Wii, along with Wii Sports and Wii Fit Plus, and started with those. After two months, I was twenty pounds lighter and could then start a walking regimen. If you can't walk, Wii, but move! 306
After two months, I started walking once or twice around our small rural farm. My husband finally mowed for me a walking course, so I wouldn't get bored doing the same path all the time. That progressed to jog/walking on our rural road. I quit for winter,(bad idea!) so starting again!24
Getting EA Sports Active for the Wii was a big boost to my exercise program. This software has pre-programmed workouts and it keeps track of the time spent as well as approximate calories. You should have the Wii Balance Board to use with it.
