I always make a cup of hot tea when I am feeling hungary. They say it takes 20 minutes after eating for your brain to tell you that your full. If that doesn't do the trick I go outside and do some yard work.
MOVING FORWARD ONE STEP AT A TIME
Set one small daily goal, write it in a journal, memorize it and stick to it.
Instead of thinking about how much weight I have to lose and how much time it will take, I now set only one small, daily goal first thing in the morning. I write it in my journal so I don't forget and make it official, then I only focus on this goal for the day. I set a different one the next day.
This forces me to only focus on today and to take it one goal, one step at the time.
