I use visualization to help me. When I see something about someone that I admire I visualize myself obtaining it (defined armes, strong core, etc). I also research it to determine what path is best to obtain my goals and visualize myself on various points of the path. It works!
Visualization has been around for centuries, and can assist in all areas of life.
I always have an easier time acheiving a goal when I know where I want to go. To get there faster, write or draw a picture of the destination that you seek. I made a picture of me at my goal weight and wrote a list of characteristics I want to develop along the wayIdeas spark change..189
After writing down the visualization of your goal, look at it every day to keep on track.
Every morning, before I get out of bed, I sit in a quiet yoga pose for 15 minutes and visualize my day. I congratulate myself on yesterday's successes, forgive the slips and commit to my plan today. I see myself preparing breakfast and packing my lunch. I breathe deeply and get calm. 135
This visualization has been used for years by successful athletes and it helps me stay focused for the day.
