One of my Sparkfriends has an infected foot and as I was reading The Doctors Book of Food Remedies {by Selene Yeager & the Editors of Prevention Magazine} I came across on p.350~ a garlicky soup recipe{it is a published work so I can't post recipe} and Eating for Immunity~Vit A ~carrots,spinach,kale,yellow & orange squash & mustard greens{that provides the immunity defense } and Vit .C ~oranges and broccoli provide the offense{words used in the book~though I know Super Bowl Sunday is tomorrow!

MORE INFORMATION:
2/3/13~Note:Vit A has enzymes that help to get rid of bacteria and Vit C strengthens our immune system. Plus added zinc may help.~~{Always check with your doctor first].So if you have an infection or are trying to stay healthy,may be this info may be of some use to you.
