I have lowered my blood pressure in the past 5 months by eating low sodium. I used to take 5 prescription medications a day, now I just take one for blood pressure. I have taken meds for over 30 years and was even slim when I started having HBP problems! After having problems and even landing in the hospital with 220/110, I learned more about a low sodium diet and started. At first I was drastic, only up to 500 mg a day of sodium. Now I eat about 1,000 mg.

I have a RESPERATE machine which plays music and I breathe in time to the music. It helps lower blood pressure over time. So along with my exercising I am also breathing my way to lower blood pressure! YAHOO!
