In the warm summer months just before finishing up in the shower, turn the water from hot to cold gradually. You would be amazed at how cold you may get the water to be and it feels great after the hot water. It also helps to cool down the bathroom from that sticky humid feeling after a shower. Standing under the cold water is good for my neck and shoulders according to my chiropractor after the hot shower.
