Steam Away Horrible Carpet Stains With No Chemicals

If you have a nasty stain (food, pets, etc) spray liberally with a misting bottle full of water. Place a white washcloth on top, then iron it with an electric steam iron until it doesn't make fizzy noises anymore. Repeat until the stain is lifted.
Can also use 1:4 mix of carpet cleaner/water for a better smell.
I've used this method to remove pet urine, pet feces, soft drinks, mud, etc. There will be a slight smell if only using water. Soft drinks smell like burned caramel. Pet stains smell like what it's a stain of. When the washcloth is wet, get a dry one. We have a pile of 15 or so just for this!

Folex is in a white bottle with purple writing and has a spray trigger. If you have an old food stain, spray some directly onto the stain and rub with your finger or sponge. I have seen it work on 2 month old chocolate stain that was dried into the carpet after using another product. It is a little slice of carpet heaven in a bottle. Works even faster mixed with hot water....
