Bald And Beautiful

35

This Sparked Me!

I'm 33 and I've been battling aggressive cancer (caused by my obesity!) for almost exactly a year. I have no hair on my head - or eyebrows or eyelashes. Some days I'm really down and start snacking - but, I've discovered that what I really want is some time to feel good about myself. I'll give myself a facial and paint my finger and toenails, and then I'll use a really pretty smelling lotion on my legs, arms, shoulders. I even have a fun pink wig. :)

I am so proud of you for taking on such a positive attitude toward your illness. Keep putting on that cream and pampering yourself and know that you look super in that pink wig. Also, don't blame yourself for your cancer---just tell yourself you are going to beat it and kick it to the curb. You are SO YOUNG--you have so much ahead of you---don't ever forget that!

Best wishes always!
