I had a co-worker say to me "you know what to do, you're just not doing it". I wanted to say, I am doing it! But, I kept quiet while she boasted about paying to join a weight loss group next week. I thought, I see your challenge and it's ON!!! emoticon

  • Why can people be so heartless sometimes and act like know it alls. You have to do this for you not for what your friend stated. You CAN do this. You are capable. I just started in November 2013 and so far lost 30 pounds. I feel so proud of myself. I want to take care of me for a change so that then I can take care of my family. You can do this for YOU and for all the right reasons. We are all in the same field and we can get there!!! emoticon - by CHICAM
  • don't you just love those people who know everything!!!! i am glad that you are doing a challenge to keep you motivated!!!!!! and that person will never know. but chances are that person could try to put your favorite foods/snacks out to get you to cheat. i had people say to me, "i bought your favorite candy bar." or "i made your fav pasta, i was thinking of you." i would always thank them, eat what i had packed/planned for the time of work, and secretly throw their "treat" away. i hate to waste food, but i had to do something. good luck! emoticon - by BARB5009
  • Nothing like a challenge to motivate you. You can beat her - just be sure to do exercises you enjoy - I like going to the gym but it is not for everyone. Also, if you are on a normal weight loss journey (calories in/calories out) be sure to track food and exercise. I believe that is the only way to be successful on that type of plan. Weight Loss plans can backfire very quickly. Once you give up Jenny Craig meals and start eating real food most people I know put the weight back on. So she may start out quicker then you but remember the tortoise won the race, not the rabbit - by JANAMP09
