Slim (not grim) reality is that if I can't control the "stop" button, I don't eat the food. The way I lose weight and feel good is to eat vegetables and lean protein with a healthy fat. Counting calories doesn't work for me if I eat white carbs. I get so hungry. I end up failing and quitting. I eat foods I like such as shrimp, avocados, goat cheese, kale chips, fresh salsa, grilled fish, artichokes, dark chocolate and turkey bacon. If I can eat what satisfies me, I can avoid eating junk.

The other slim reality is exercise. I have to work out hard enough to make a difference. I started seeing a functional trainer. Now I can do real pushups, plank for a minute, sprint, you name it. I'm still a little sore every the next day after every work out - but it feels good.
