I sprinkle ground flax seed like pepper to add vitamins and fiber. GFS is also a staple in my baked goods as I substitute no less than 1/4 cup in most recipes, especially cookies.

    I've never used flax seed. When you say you substitute it in baked recipies, do you mean substitute for flour? How does it affect the taste?

    I use ground flaxseed also. Great improvement in my eating and cooking with this!
