Work Place Biggest Loser Contest
To get my weight loss started.... I challenged my coworkers to a biggest loser contest. We ran a 12 week program based on percentage of weight loss. Who better to support and motivate you than the people that you spend 8 hours with a day/40 hours a week.

We had weekly weigh in's by a local retired nurse. We all contributed $10 to start. Each weigh in we took $2; we paid $1 to weigh and there was a $1 penalty if you did not lose or gained. I talked the company into putting up prize money. We all got healthier and got closer as co workers.
4# Dumbbells for upper body excercise while watching Biggest Loser (or any other Favorite Show)

I have started using dumbbells while watching TV. It only is upper body, but useful in stretching shoulders and arms, and useful in low-stress, lots of repititions. And if I do it while watching TV, I feel still relaxing and enjoying my evening, while getting low impact workout. Works for me!!
