Had no CLUE how many steps I took each day until I got a FItBit for Christmas. He's like a personal trainer I take with me each day - encouraging me to move more and collect 10,000 steps/day. I love how I can score lots of steps just doing a couple of laps up/down my street with the dog. And the scale has FINALLY started to move downward!

I subscribed to the Fitbit Trainer, and it allows me to see the impact of the intensity of my exercise. My long dog walks don't burn many calories, but take a lot of time. When I have a specific CICO goal, Fitbit reads SP's Nutrition information and shows the gap. That prompted me to incorporate some intense exercise each day to make sure my exercise was paying off.
I got a fitbit and this little device tracks my steps calories and miles. I am so motivated to stay active because of this electronic pedometer. I'm taking the dog for longer walks, parking farther away, cleaning my house....
