Secrets of Success

Am Workouts

I never considered myself a morning person, but I've trained myself to get up earlier and get my workout in before I go to work. That means I have to get up at 4:30 am to get in my strength training and half of my cardio before work...that's early but it gets my day off to such a great start!

More Information:

I alternate upper body, lower body and core as my strength training routine, so I'm doing some form of strength training every day. I do half my cardio before work and walk on my lunch and breaks to get the rest more "I'm too tired to work out" when I get home from work.

I get up at 5:00 to work out. It makes the day so much better! - by NEWNAC304
  • I do the same thing. I used to find that if I waited until after work, something always prevented me from working out. Getting up at 5am was the answer. I've been doing it for almost 9 months and rarely ever miss a workout. I also have more energy during the rest of the day. Just remember that if you take blood pressure medicine, do it at night so it is still in your system for your morning workout. - by WCALLA1
