I can do anything I set my mind too. I have risen up from a wheelchair to walk again. I keep moving even when my body doesn't want to. If I can do it - What is your excuse. Just start by doing 1000 steps at a time per hour. In 10 hours that is 10,000 steps or 5 miles. Lets get strong together!!!

A simple sentence with powerful words really do push you through that last quarter of your workout. Construct a sentence that really speaks to you. Make sure to leave out any words that might leave you with doubt. Instead of "I think I am strong" say "I am strong." Repeat it in your head. Sounds crazy, but so far it is really helping me stay positive about where I am and what I need to do to reach my goals.
I tell myself that I am in control of myself and my life. I am strong and able. No one is holding a knife to my throat, so walk away from the temptation, or get mad and throw it out of your house. I can do anything I put my mind to.
If I feel like I need to absolutely eat something, I think about it. Why? Am I hungry or is it something else. I take a time out and think on it, as I drink a full 8 oz. glass of water. I usually find I'm bored or lonely. Then I do something to occupy my thoughts.
