I always plan ahead prior to me becoming bored. Every two weeks-three weeks or so I try to change up my eating and fitness routine. I make it almost a mini challenge to find healthy food options (new) that i like and also new workouts. I also get my family involved: tell them my goal and they provide compliments/help along the way. I also ask for fitness related gifts.

I try to making sure i plan out what ill eat for the day and when i plan on eating. If i ever feel the need to eat in between meals i evaluate how hungry i am by thinking "Would I eat a vegetable right now?" and if yes then go for the vegetable. I also make sure on my "cheat" days i count in the calories from that meal
Identify your worst 'snack time' and use it for Fitness Minutes instead
Late afternoons, I would snack while fixing dinner -- usually filling up before dinner was ready, but I'd still eat a full dinner. Now I go to the gym or take a walk during the time dinner is cooking and get a double benefit! Fewer calories in, More calories burned!
