How often have you bought a book and started reading only to find out it was not as good as the reviews or the help you needed. Check out books before you buy them at the local library then buy only the ones you think you will want to read again. If you do not live handy to one then maybe an investment in a e-reader is your answer. Because my daughter and I live in different cities we each have a membership in our own cities and share our log-ins so we can download from either library.

Saves clutter too. No more books sitting on a bookshelf never to be read again - or selling them at a small fraction of what you paid. Most books never get read again!

So true! I love the libraries in massachusetts! They have this whole system of interconnected libraries, so I can find pretty much anything! apparently other libraries across the country do this too but I had never encountered it.
The digital titles are amazing too. I can find so many great audio books.

Secret: you don't have to live in ma to get an online account with the boston public library. they have so many e books and audio books available it's amazing!
