How often have you bought a book and started reading only to find out it was not as good as the reviews or the help you needed. Check out books before you buy them at the local library then buy only the ones you think you will want to read again. If you do not live handy to one then maybe an investment in a e-reader is your answer. Because my daughter and I live in different cities we each have a membership in our own cities and share our log-ins so we can download from either library.
Saves clutter too. No more books sitting on a bookshelf never to be read again - or selling them at a small fraction of what you paid. Most books never get read again!

Instead of buying books or paying rental fees for DVD's, check out your local library! If you haven't been to a library in a while, you'll be surprised by how much they offer now!! Library financial support is dependent at least in part on circulation levels, so the more you borrow from your library, the better your library can serve you in the future!
My library offers fantastic online services -- check to see if yours does, too!
One of the best ways to save money is to make use of your local public library. Our library not only has books and magazines, but classic and current movies on DVD or VHS. Library cards are free when you present a driver's license or other form of ID. The library is certainly a great resource for saving money. Blessings, Meg
Theater: $7-8 • Rental $3-4 • Library FREE! At your local library, you can get a wide variety of even newly released DVDs to check out. If you can't find a specific one, go to you library's website where you can request it from other libraries. It's just like Netflix without the cost.
This is also the perfect way to preview or try out fitness DVDs before you fork out the cash. No longer will you spend $20 on a workout DVD only to discover its too hard/easy for you.
