If you are craving cookies but don't want to eat the whole batch, this secret is for you! Next time you make a batch of cookies, bake only 1 or 2 for each person in your household. Use a melon baller to scoop the rest of the dough onto a cookie sheet and then freeze it on the sheet. When frozen, store in a freezer bag (separate w/ wax paper) & write the time to bake and oven temp on the front. You can bake 1 or 2 at a time by adding 2 minutes to the total baking time!
I love this secret because every once in a while I must have a cookie, but I don't want the whole batch hanging around my house. Also, if I have to think about baking the cookie before eating it, it makes me question whether or not I really have room for it in my calorie intake.

When making cookies it is too easy to get out of control and eat half the batch of cookies. If I make cookies I allow myself to eat 1 and then freeze the rest. I can then eat 1 each day if I want. By having them in the freezer instead of the counter it removes the temptation to give in
Yesterday, I made 5 different Batches of Cookies. (eg, pressed cookies, sugar cut outs,) I used Olivio intead of butter, split the sugars=half splenda brown sugar and half regular brown sugar, White Whole Wheat Pastry Flour instead of All Purpose Flour. Well, the Men came home from work and, of course, got into the containers. They Loved them and are None the Wiser ! ! ! AND they are eating Healthier. Enjoy and Happy Holidays.
