Eat A Protein Whenever Eating A Carb

To lose weight, if you eat a carb, like an apple, also eat a protein like light string cheese. This will help keep you full longer, stabilize blood sugar and increase metabolism.

  • Agree! When I was pregnant with my second, I had pre-pre-gestational diabetes (my wake up blood sugar was between 90-100/all others were fine, but they like wake up to be below 90) .... anyway, so I met with an endocrinologist to work to prevent Gestational Diabetes .... This was her recommendationg too!!! Never a carb without a protein!! Helps your body use the carbs and not just store them as fat! - by CRAMOMMY
