I get up a little early so I can make my coffee or pot of tea and read the news, or play on Sparkpeople. It helps me wake up gently and look forward to the day rather than loathe my alarm clock and life outside of my cozy bed. Do something you enjoy right away. If you must get up, talk yourself into it with something special.

I've started using the "Nutrition Notes" toward the bottom of the "My Nutrition" page to (a) track what times I eat my 5-6 meals a day, and (b) track what new foods (or in my case, protein bars) I've tried and whether I liked them or not. This makes it easier when trying to remember whether I liked a particular flavor, and whether I should buy it again or not. WAY easier than scrolling through each day because you can print a "Nutrition Notes Report". SO HANDY!!!

I start to to watch my portion on each meal and drink more water
When I signed up for SP I liked the information I read and the group I joined ,the welcome and the advice from everyone respond to my introduction.
