If I ever do less than 45 minutes 5 times a week, I notice a slight weight gain, so I have to keep exercising. Years of running have worn down my knees a bit, but I can still jog/walk and I like doing dance classes and bicycling. Try new things if you get bored with the same thing. Or if you just go on automatic with running or walking, just change your music on your ipod. Music always helps me exercise.
