When I find I have tons to do and can't figure out where to start at home, I grab my handy kitchen timer (or use the timer on my cell phone) and clean in each room for 10 minutes. You would be amazed by how much you accomplish! Take a 10 minute (timed!) break after 30 minutes or so and keep going.
Once you get through all your rooms you will feel like things are under control and you can tackle more intricate projects.

Every night we have a 10 minute clean up. It gets our teenager & 9 nine year involved with nagging...we all go through specific assigned downstairs rooms: our kitchen, living room, bathroom, den and laundry room and clean them in 10 minutes. It has been working. Cleaning on the weekend is a lot easier now. 41 I am a lot happier.
Exercise is Exercise. 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there, or 60 minutes one time. It all adds up! It doesn't have to always be the traditional take X amount of time each day to work out. I sneak in 10 minute walks, or step exercises. All of these still add up to my allotted time needed for exercise!
Stop thinking that if you miss your gym time then you won't be able to work out today. Or that you just don't have time today. It is all cumulative!! So go out there and make it happen.
