Instead of sitting or standing still while talking on the phone, I try to do a little exercising like marching or running in place. I have a cordless phone so sometimes I walk from one end of the house to the other or walk up and down the stairs. It's amazing how many calories you can burn during a 10 or 15 minute phone call! Also, its helps make the time go faster when you call a business and they put you on hold.
