The more people you are willing to tell that you are trying to improve your health and trying to diet the better I do. Its just that simple, you can't do it alone. Working with a friend and checking up on each other is a great way to start. Don't get discouraged if you have a bad day. Just try harder.
Most people don't like to eat alone, I know I don't but since I am single I do most of the time. Once I measure my food, I wanted to inhale it because I didn't like being alone. I keep a book or the newspaper at the table to make me savor the flavors. At work I read my e-mail on weekends, during the week I watch jeopardy. This makes me enjoy my food and leads me to eating less (you get full faster)
