Secrets of Success

My Own Best Friend

When I get on the scale and I don't know what is going to happen, I think of what I would say to my best friend. Either a big congrats or 'you'll get 'em next time' and I say them out loud as if he is in the room with me. Treating myself like my own best friend has done wonders for my weigh ins. :)

  • I would have never thought of this. Usually if the scales show I either haven't lost any or if I actually gained I'm disappointed in myself and verbally chew myself out. Thanks for giving me a positive spin on this emoticon - by BRENDA_G50
