    one thing i do in my journal is to focus on what is my negative thought, and name it. why is it there, what happened that sparked it and turn it into a win. sometimes i get in a 'funky' mood about myself and this helps me rationalize where the self-loathing comes from. this self loathing is so dangerous as it will throw me under the bus if i dont keep my mental game in check! and making myself do something every single day helps as this is a small goal i can accomplish and makes me feel good about myself!
