My sister and I started a support group at our church. We meet once a week and share ideas. My sister talks about nutrition and I demonstrate exercises that can be done by anyone, anytime. At the end of the meeting, we choose buddy and take walk in the parking lot. It's been a great success.

Remember when you were little and the Buddy System seemed silly when going to the bathroom or on a walk through the woods? Well, it's really not that silly when you think about it. Having a buddy along gives you someone to share your time with, to talk to, and to help keep you going.
